A Month to Celebrate Some Pretty Incredible Humans

It’s October, which means it’s Down Syndrome Awareness Month! 💙💛

And I can’t think of a better way to kick off the month than with some of my favorite little people.

For more than a decade, I’ve had the absolute joy of watching these kiddos grow, celebrate milestones, make each other laugh, show off their personalities, and completely steal my heart along the way. And somehow, every year, I leave these sessions with even more favorite faces than I had before. ❤️

Down syndrome awareness is about so much more than a month on the calendar. It’s about making sure our kids are seen, included, celebrated, given opportunities, and valued for exactly who they are.

These kids have taught me so much about joy, friendship, perseverance, and not taking a single moment for granted.

So here’s to October… and to celebrating some pretty incredible humans not just this month, but all year long — every month, every day, all the time. Because they deserve nothing less. 💙💛
