Class of 2026 Senior Portraits | Payton
A little New Chapters housekeeping...
As I start filling in the New Chapters side of my blog, I'm going to be peppering in some of my favorite stories that happened in that little in-between period — after I stopped regularly posting on the Early Chapters blog and before I began the New Chapters here on the new site.
So if you happen to notice a post from a few months ago making its way onto the blog now, that's why! These are some of the stories that were shared on social media during that in-between time but never got a permanent home on the blog.
This one was too good not to give it one.
Some sessions are special because of the photos. Others are special because of everything that came before them.
I've had the privilege of photographing the Kinchen family for years, and Payton was one of those children I've had the absolute joy of watching grow up in front of my camera. So getting to photograph her senior portraits this year? Well... that one felt pretty special. (and quite emotional)
The Kinchens also happen to own Kinchen Martial Arts Academy, where they teach martial arts to both children and adults. My entire family has trained there, too, so this is one of those rare times when I can give a business a shout-out and mean every word of it. They are truly wonderful people, and I can't say enough good things about the family, the studio, and the experience they've created there.
If you've ever thought about martial arts for yourself or your kids, definitely take a peek at Kinchen Martial Arts Academy. They're pretty special.
Back to our girl Payton.. You may notice she's wearing two graduation gowns and tassels — and there's a very good reason for that!
Payton chose the Early College path and, in just four years, graduated not only with her high school diploma but also with her Associate of Arts degree. 🎓🎓
I am beyond impressed by her dedication, hard work, and determination. Watching her grow into this amazing young woman has been such a joy, and I can't wait to see where this next chapter takes her.
Congratulations once again, Payton! Your future is bright, and this is only the beginning. I cannot wait to see what your next chapter brings!!!
Want to see my very 1st Photoshoot with the Kinchen Family 13 years ago?!?!!?
