Mountain Shoot Flashback

The next flashback I'm excited to share brings back some really joyful memories.
Years ago, I decided I wanted to do a photo shoot in the mountains, so I threw the idea out there. As luck would have it, some sweet clients of mine happened to be heading that way, and we were able to coordinate a session while they were there.
This particular image didn't have any of the beautiful fall foliage we captured during the session, but it had something else that was even better — the absolute love and laughter these three shared together.
It is still one of my favorite images. Still.
The little boy in this picture isn't a little boy anymore. Far from it. But when I look at this photo, I still see this little guy hanging out with his mom and dad, completely wrapped up in the moment.
I'm so glad we froze this one.
Because that's the magic of photography. Years from now, you can look at an image and for just a moment, you're right back there — feeling the laughter, remembering the love, and seeing them exactly as they were.
